Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of PharmSig, a sig code training service for pharmacy technicians, pharmacy staff, and pharmacy schools. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Educational use only. Not medical advice.
PharmSig is a training and study tool. It is not a clinical reference, not a dispensing system, and not a source of medical, pharmaceutical, or professional advice.
Sig code translations, drug information, and practice prescriptions in the service are provided for learning purposes only. They may be incomplete, simplified for teaching, or out of date. Real prescriptions must always be interpreted and verified by a licensed pharmacist in accordance with your employer's procedures and applicable law.
Never rely on this service to fill, verify, label, or counsel on an actual prescription. All patient names, prescribers, and NPI numbers used in practice content are fictional.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up. Do not share your account, and do not use anyone else's.
Organization accounts (pharmacy and academic) may have administrators who can invite members and view members' training activity and quiz scores. If you join through an invitation, your administrator can see your practice results.
4. Subscriptions, trials, and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis through Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details.
- Individual plans include a 7 day free trial. A payment method is required to start the trial, and your card is charged automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
- Academic licenses are quoted per institution and are arranged directly with us rather than purchased through the site.
- You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then.
- Payments already made are non-refundable except where required by law. If you were charged in error, contact us and we will make it right.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before the change affects your next renewal.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service or its content
- Copy or scrape the sig code database, quiz content, or flashcard content in bulk
- Share one account across multiple people to avoid paying for seats
- Attempt to breach, probe, or disrupt the service or other users' accounts
- Upload unlawful content, or use the service to violate any law or professional standard
6. Your content
Custom sig codes and other content you add remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store and display that content to you and, where applicable, to your organization. We do not sell your content or use it to train third party models.
7. Our content
The service, including its sig code content, quiz and flashcard material, software, and branding, is owned by PharmSig and protected by intellectual property law. Your subscription grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for training.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid service entirely, we will refund any prepaid period you have not used.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of content. We do not warrant that the training content is error free or suitable for any certification exam or employment requirement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PharmSig is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill.
In particular, we are not liable for any harm arising from reliance on the service's content in actual pharmacy practice. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms. On termination, your right to use the service ends; see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
